Taking part in a supervised bike ride gives pupils in Key Stage 2 the opportunity to explore the local area on their bikes in a safe situation.

Where the local infrastructure allows, they will use local cycle paths and quiet residential or country lanes. This has often been used as a day-long leavers ride for Year 6 pupils.

Regular breaks are given and where possible we try to include a local green area or park for a picnic lunch.
